History

In April 1991, ISI was established as a subsidiary in the Kobe Steel Group by converting the then Plant Services Department of the Engineering & Machinery Division into an independent company to provide better global integrated plant services needed by the Industrial Plants constructed by Kobe Steel all over the world.
In January 2000, ISI took over the business of INTECS, another subsidiary of Kobe Steel, who was mainly involved in rendering technical assistance for operation and maintenance of the Industrial Plants constructed by Kobe Steel.
